Light as a Feather ... energy based bodywork can help us feel this way as it invites balance.
Below are therapy names, yet names may not be as important as what they can do for you - because that's the bottom line : Are you getting the results you want from the therapy being offered? Georgiana offers a first session guarantee - feel better or the session is free. All of the therapies Qi Consciousness offers encourage the body/mind to remember homeostasis (balance). Georgiana does not 'fix' anyone or any condition. Energy wants to move, and it needs space to move so Georgiana applies techniques to invite change in the muscles and energy patterns which serve to make space for energy to flow. Once flowing, the wisdom of the body/mind takes over and reduces or eliminates a hindering pattern (pain, slow injury recovery, feeling of heaviness in body/emotions, too much mental chatter, not enough daily energy, irregular sleep, belief and habit patterns). |
Reiki
|
A Japanese relaxation practice, Reiki was originally created as a spiritual self-development method. Its precepts are: Do not anger, do not worry, be humble, be compassionate, be honest, and these are daily aspirations for reflection and review. This therapy is offered to others by gently placing hands on or near the body to allow for the connection of Life Force Energy (the spiritual animating energy in all creatures). This energy connection is simply offered to another person or animal, and the energy combines with the person's or animal's energy to balance areas within the body/mind, and can benefit from the invitation for change. Reiki goes where it is needed, to the core of the issue. Studies now suggest: Reiki supports reduction in pain, anxiety, and depression; relieves nausea; reduces tiredness, activates relaxation, reduced heart rate and blood pressure through parasympathetic nervous system. Other Common (subjective) benefits: quiets the mind, improve sleep, peacefulness. Good for newborns, children, adults, elderly, and animals.

This unique method includes evaluation, energy testing, which is used to ask the body what it needs. Chakra Balancing
|
Chakra, a Sanskrit term, refers to a circular spinning wheel or vortex of energy. Traditionally, there are seven main chakras in the body system. Each chakra relates to an area of life experience like communication, personal power, connection with others, forgiveness, love, connection to divine energy, intuition. This session, based on The Eden Method, evaluates the chakras before and after the balancing technique is applied. There are protocols for clearing past experiences, supporting forward movement, and enhancing communication between the chakras. These sessions often provide the following benefits: relaxation of body/mind, increase in clarity, reduces confusion, opens perspectives, supports moving forward in life, reduces stress, brings feelings of peace, harmony, kindness, and joy. Each chakra is connected to hormone producing glands so issues related to hormones (menopause, PMS, menstrual cycle) can also be supported.

Craniosacral Therapy
|
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is focused on harmonizing the flow of cerebral spinal fluid from the head to the base of the spine and back up again. Tightness in the muscle and fascia around the spine, in the neck, the shoulders can inhibit the smooth flow of this fluid and reduce key performance in the body as well as the brain (cerebral spinal fluid is produced and re-absorbed in the brain). The therapy offers techniques to relax tight tissue : muscles and fascia. Fascia is a tissue which resides throughout the body and wraps around muscles, nerves, organs -- it is even in our eyes. When this tissue is tight, it restricts function. CST relaxes this tissue allowing for the body to self-correct for improved function.
