Some energy techniques are based on science, some possible benefits are based on subjective viewpoints, some have been studied and confirmed as providing certain benefits. As every body is different (yes, similar yet different beliefs, experiences, and physical abilities) subjective or studied benefits may or may not result.

Consult your medical team for any concerns you have for your physical, mental or emotional health, If you are considering adding energy balancing to your care, speak with your healthcare team first. Ask them who they might recommend and discuss possible benefits (relaxation, more comfort in body). Seek qualified energy and/or massage therapy practitioners in your area. 

If you decide to engage in techniques or movements, do what is comfortable. Modify movements or visualize (yes, it has positive effects) the movement, if needed.
